Below is our report on the Real Estate Sales Activity for our Trumbull area for January 2012. Included herein are the towns of Trumbull, Shelton, Stratford, Monroe and Bridgeport. This report is published mid-month every month, while the active inventory report is published at the start of each month.
This report includes activity of regular sales, short sales and foreclosures. Especially in Bridgeport, foreclosure sales of single-family detached homes, condominiums and multi-unit homes will slightly increase the number of homes sold and decrease the median sold price of such homes.
Also shown is the year-over-year activity.
Note: A six (6) month’s supply of inventory is considered a balanced buyer’s/seller’s market. Above six is a buyer’s market, while below, a seller’s market.
